Introduction and History of perfumes
Hello everyone!
This is Shrikant P. Patankar, owner of Gandharaj Aeromatics Akola. The main aim behind this blog is to make you guys aware with the word ' Perfume' that how this industry started and flourished till today and also that our motto is to provide good quality fragrance to people in the form of good perfumes and deodorants of every brand wheather imported or Indian at very reasonable rate.
History of perfumes...
So as my blog focuses on...
The ancient Egyptians were the first to incorporate perfume into their culture.
One legend says that a woman named Tapputi as the first recorded perfume maker. They( Egyptians) we're also the first to use glass bottles to store fragrance.
It is said that great Egyptian leaders like Queen Cleopatra and Queen Hatshepur used fragrances to scent their bodies, quarters, baths and even took perfume with them to the grave.
Persian Kings often had their own " signature scents" that their companions and relatives were not allowed to use.
If we will focus on our country, Ancient Indian literature is full of references to perfumes, wheather it is Rambha whose face is of the fragrance of lotuses or the lush groves of sandalwood, aloeswood and mango trees ere Gautama's gaze or the air filled with the fragrance of patchouli flowers and incense_ India is a land abundant with scents...
Therefore it is said...
" I am the sacred fragrance of Earth...Bhagwat geeta>> Vll. 9
Thank you very much!!
